               COVID-19 Advice (issued 18 March 2020)

Given the current circumstances we've had a high number of groups make contact with us, and, due to the amount of effort put into rehearsals/marketing etc, most of them have so far wanted to re-schedule rather than cancel. We're not charging fees for any deferral of productions.

If you decide to postpone your production you probably won't know the dates for later in the year, or next year, yet, but please advise us nevertheless, and we'll issue a new temporary licence to show a date range of 2-3 months which you can then refine with us when the actual production dates are known.

Regarding cancellation: our administration fee will not be levied where you are forced to cancel your production.

Mother Goose

    by Ian Bettridge

Synopsis

What price would you put on beauty? £500? £1000? The love and support of your family and friends?

This is the dilemma that faces Mother Goose. She is not blessed with model looks and she could do with more money, a wardrobe makeover and the loss of a few inches around her waist. One thing she does have however is the unconditional love of her daughter, Jill. This soon appears not to be enough for her. She is thrown together with Priscilla a 'magical' goose, sent down to look after her by the chief fairy of fairyland, Emerald, and her young assistant, Fairy Nuff.

Add to this the money-grabbing Baron of Merrydale, his handsome nephew, Jack, who has stolen Jill's heart, the Baron's two inept henchmen, Scratch and Sniff, and Silly Billy, the village joke Then you have the ingredients to make a truly magical pantomime that the whole family will enjoy.
