Synopsis
The townsfolk are afraid of the local Dwarfs because Lilith has told them to be afraid, but really the seven dwarfs are a kindly lot with magical powers of their own. Lilith has cursed them and now they grow younger every day so that when they become babies she can steal their hoard of diamonds. Will Lilith be triumphant in both of these dastardly deeds, before Chuckles the Jester and Nurse Kitty stop her? Will Snow White escape the clutches of sinister Sydney Snarl? And will the secret of the mysterious and magical seven dwarfs finally be revealed? Of course! Sydney’s attempt to get rid of Snow White is foiled by the arrival of the Dwarfs who whisk her away to their cottage. Disguised as a crone, Lilith takes a poisoned apple to the cottage and persuades Snow White to eat it, but Rufus saves the day by rushing in and kissing her in true fairy tale style. Throughout all this, Chuckles and Kitty weave themselves in and around the story moving the plot forward, and having fun. With plenty of songs, a bit of dancing, colourful characters, loads of jokes and business, what more could a panto offer? Whilst there are seven dwarfs, only two have much involvement and lines to deliver, and it’s not mandatory for vertically challenged people to play the parts! |
