SynopsisThis one act, one set, one character play is a black comedy with a running time of about 25 minutes. Maggie sees herself as a pillar of the local community. She has a comfortable life style in a cul-de-sac of peace and tranquillity, plus a secure and happy marriage with good old, obedient, Harry, or so she thinks. In reality, she is rather pompous with attitudes that are fixed in the past. When her friend, Moira, starts running sex-aid parties, Maggie's balloon is fatally pricked. Her reactions ensure that things will never be the same again. When Moira's marriage fails, she moves in with Maggie, who unwittingly gets a rude awakening to the facts of modern-day life.
