Synopsis

Panto Script: 'Beau Jest' by Paul Reakes

Whilst working at Mr Sweet's confectionery company Timmy Trundle is falsely accused of stealing by fellow employee Silas Slimy and having been sacked, Timmy feels compelled to run away in shame and join the Foreign Legion. The thief was actually Silas and when Mr Sweet's daughter (and Timmy's sweetheart) Honey, sets a 'honey' trap for him he admits his guilt to her, but Mr Sweet overhears and fires him.

Timmy's hapless brother Toby goes to the desert with him, but they are pursued into the desert by their distraught mum, Trudy Trundle and Honey, desperate to tell him he's not in any trouble. Also following him is the unpleasant Silas who means to get his own back.

Under the blazing sun they all encounter many amazing adventures and colourful characters, including a charismatic camel, a bullying drill sergeant, a potty professor and his daughter, a villainous slave trader and a mysterious underground lost city guarded by menacing mummies.

According to the professor the lost city is supposed to contain a hugely valuable treasure, but is this the case, and if so will they be able to keep it out of the clutches of Silas and Sergeant Scar?

It's a thrilling adventure yarn with laughter and songs along the way.
