SynopsisWhen you’ve never been good at relationships and you always felt awkward around the opposite sex imagine your delight when you find the right person. An ideal marriage, a supportive family and friends… what more could you need? That is, until some cracks begin to appear, and then you notice the faults in your relationship. Something has changed, but what? It obviously can’t be you, you have always been the same, it has to be the other person. When the one person you would turn to in this situation is the person you have problems with, then who else can you ask: parents, friends, colleagues? And just how impartial might their advice to you be? This is a play about insecurities, flattery, jealousy and just how wrong things can go when you stop communicating with those you love. It’s a domestic drama with tragic consequences. It’s a play for five people with a simple living room set; a compact play with lots of tension and emotion that will have you on the edge of your seat. This play was first performed by Moon in the Sky Theatre in 2009 with a tour of five venues in the North East. It works particularly well in small venues. |
