SynopsisThis play is a simple play with a simple set and scenery. In one sense it is a delightful play about reminiscence and recapturing happier times, when life was simpler. The main character of this play is Neil a keen camper and cyclist. From day one Neil’s attempts at a simple and uncomplicated holiday are scuppered by other campers and their 20th century style of camping, their noise pollution, their children and their inability to not poke their noses into everyone else’s affairs. It also appears that Neil and his wife have a secret which others are determined to get to the bottom of. The main character of Neil is a mammoth role with long and often reflective speeches peppered with humour and pathos. |
