Synopsis |

There is a certain buzz in the air of the studios at Channel 97. Filming of a new sit-com is about to start in front of a live studio audience. Bernard, the director, expects that “He’s In The Cupboard!” will be a success, and everything is on schedule until the leading actor pulls out. Soon the cast are dropping like flies and it is a battle to find replacements before the show is beamed out across the network later that night. But at least Nigel Havers is coming, isn’t he? Maxwell the warm up man won’t go on without his lucky jacket, Sarah is about to get her first big break, if she can just master reading autocue, and there is even a role for George who is pulled out the audience to take part. As the cast move from scene to scene in and out of character, the old adage of 'the show must go on' couldn’t be any more relevant. But what will the TV critics make of the show? |
